With the infographic layout completed, I started to separate the layers into its animation components. I did wonder if I should do it for each vector separately and combine it into the infographic or if I should just animate everything on one file. For the animation part, I decided to use Adobe After Effects.

To refresh this is how the Infographic looks like:

In the end of the layer separation arc, this was the comparison of layers from initial to final layer count of the file:

Now that that's sorted, I imported my Adobe Illustrator file into Adobe After Effects to start animating. If you noticed in the picture that the 5th vector is missing. This is due to the fact that it had a lot of elements to it (explosion and small bubbles) that I'm planning on making it move.

Render 2 (With 5)

After that's done I exported it as an mp4 and made it loop able with GIF Maker. Here are the finals!

Reflection

Throughout this project I have revisited a lot of skills that I have garnered throughout my years with illustrator and after effects. My initial reaction to this project was that it was going to be easier than I though but as I reflected further, it became harder and I learnt how to properly layout my information in a way that is visually appealing and easy to read through tutorials and lectures.

There were some hurdles for me when it comes to creating the vectors for this project but I managed to pull off a more simple look whilst also creating something that differed my design to others. Overall, this project has been a valuable learning experience that has helped me grow and gain a new perspective on infographics.
