Progress - 1A

I sourced my pictures form Uniqlo's Life Wear catalogue and scrap pages borrowed from my friend's assorted magazines.

I wasn't sure that I could find enough material in those pictures, so I opted to find inspiration and pieces on Pinterest that I could use on top of those.

Inspired by how flowy the watercolour-esque texture from the front cover, I decided to go for a sea/aquarium theme for my Collage. We were tasked to apply one of the 2 ratios which were Thirds, and or The Golden Ratio

It was purely coincidence that when I added that part of a plate, it looked like a fish fin, but ill take it!

Following in-suite with the ocean/sea aquatic theme, we were tasked to create a collage from a list of pictures given to us by our lecturers and photoshop them using Adobe Photoshop.

I had created multiple base layouts based on those pictures. They weren't much as I still had gone into the application without prior knowledge of Photoshop itself.

I chose to go forward with my first base and started adding more elements to make the composition more fuller. I also learned the basics of the essential inner workings of Photoshop during this time to expand my skills more.

I had used 2 different types of metal textures and created layer masks for them to look like raining clouds. I also played with the hue and saturation to make it more synchronous with the composition with pops of orange, since it was its complimentary colour on the spectrum.

We were also tasked to recolour a Black and White picture first was solid colours and another with more technical uses of Mask Layers to recolour an object.
